Collection and Distribution

Food Link is powered by 250+ amazing volunteers who work in groups to collect, sort, and distribute food.  Collection and Distribution volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.  Most collection and distribution shifts are two hours and we ask for a regular commitment.

Additional Volunteer Opportunities

Can't do an ongoing volunteer commitment? Want to volunteer with children or with a group? Join us for other volunteer opportunities.

Opportunities include:

  1. Sorting non-perishable food

  2. Assisting at fundraisers

  3. Representing Food Link at local events

  4. Cleaning Food Link's operations center

  5. Raking leaves

  6. Bagging bread

These activities may be appropriate for children over 8 years old and groups. Groups of 6 to 15 may be able to schedule a day and time specifically to volunteer together.

Please fill out our volunteer interest form, and our staff will contact you to find a shift that works in your schedule.
