Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant facilitates core daily administrative functions to ensure our office runs smoothly. This role is perfect for a self-starter who loves creating order and organization, and who wants to apply their administrative talents to a meaningful cause. Reporting directly to the Director of Administration, the ideal candidate must handle sensitive data and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism. This position supports multiple organizational functions (including HR, Facilities, and Finance), assists the senior leadership team, and oversees the daily operations of our physical office space.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can independently balance shifting priorities, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate effectively within a small, dynamic team.

Operations Coordinator
The Operations Coordinator is a full time position responsible for facilitating day to day operations for our Food Recovery Program in Arlington. The Coordinator collaborates closely with the rest of the Operations team to collect surplus food from our donor partners – including supermarkets, wholesalers, production facilities, and farms – and redistribute to our recipient agencies throughout Greater Boston. This role includes working with our large network of volunteers on a daily basis, liaising with the Logistics Managers on site visits to our community partners, and regularly communicating with our food donors and recipient agencies. This role is also responsible for accurate data collection in our Salesforce database and overseeing fleet management.
This person works closely with other members of the operations team to guide volunteers in how to collect, sort, pack and deliver food. They collaborate with the Facilities Manager for compost removal and to maintain organization around our Arlington Hub.
